Embrace Your Power

Hello beautiful people,

It’s gloomy and dreary outside today; and surprisingly cold for early September!

I’m embracing it for the most part though, because that means that fall is coming soon or that the hurricane is near >.<

So today’s post is about the importance of embracing the power within you. I believe that we all have our own ancient power that is embedded within our being–that is carried with our soul throughout our lifetime; I believe that it is passed down from our ancestors and our past lives. In this power lies our skills, innate abilities (natural talent), thirst for knowledge and our sixth sense. If you can tap into it, it can come in handy when trying to tackle life’s dilemmas.

For example, let’s say that you are applying for a job that requires 5 years of experience and knowledge of certain programs. You only have 2 years of experience and knowledge of one program from a previous role.

Number one: Do not panic! Just because it seems like you are lacking an amount of skills does not mean you are not well qualified for the role.

The first thing you have to do—after you wipe away those feelings of inadequacy— is to trust and believe in yourself–in your inner power. You will discover that you are highly intelligent, a fast learner, ambitious and eager for knowledge. THAT is what will get you the job–not necessarily your “know-how” but your desire to learn these new skills quickly & efficiently. It is your self-confidence that shines so bright, it burns through anyone’s doubts that they are basing off of the contents of your resume.

By using your power, you turn your visible weaknesses into viable strengths, which will show the person not only why you are a good candidate but why you are the best & only candidate for the job.

Next example, let’s say that you want to start a diy or creative project at home but you are lacking certain tools or equipment needed. Again, don’t panic! You are a beautiful, POWERFUL being that can draw from what is around you. You must use what you have to get where you want to be. Look up any substitutions or alternatives that can be used in place of what you’re lacking, or take the time to self-educate–and gain power [knowledge] that way. Read articles, do research, or even online shop for things that will be needed for this project. Do not give up because it seems as if something is missing; in reality, YOU are all that is needed for your goals to succeed.

If you’re having trouble or do not know where to start to find your power then don’t worry! All you need is guidance & the right tools to help.

Here are some tools that can be used to access your inner power & strength:

Crystals & Stones: Use ones for clarity, intuition, wisdom & creativity (clear quartz, flourite, iron pyrite)

Chakra candles: When your chakras are aligned, it easier to access information about ourselves because our energy flows abundantly & is able to be directed to the proper outlet.

Horoscope: Read your horoscope (from a trusted source) for the week to find out how to get over any obstacles headed your way.

Nature: There’s nothing like the outdoors that inspire you to make the most out of your day and life in general. Take some time to meditate in the park & discover what has been on your mind lately.

Yoga: Yoga is the perfect tool to realize the strength your mind, body and spirit have when connected!

Reading: A self-awareness, self-teaching or some yummy fiction can awaken your imagination and bring forth ideas!

**Any wellness activity can be used to access your power. Find one that works for you, embrace it and then use it to conquer whatever obstacles are standing in your way!!

Peace & love,

Sundays: A Time to Regenerate

Ahhh Sundays..

I remember being in college and dreading Sundays because it was the end of the weekend & class would be coming up Monday morning. Usually, I had most of my work to do that day [procastination] so it would really suck if it was nice out & I couldn’t enjoy the day.  Nowadays, I look at Sundays very differently because I started approaching them with a new perspective.

Everyone knows Sunday as the end of the week, but what we tend to forget [or at least I do] is that it is also the beginning of a new week! There’s energy within that sequence that can lead to so many discoveries! For example, let’s say that you’ve had a bad week all around and by the time Sunday comes, you are completely over it. You feel that way because the energy of the week is passing by you like dark clouds after a storm. It’s literally disappearing to make way for sunshine.

Last Sunday, I made peace with my feelings from the past few weeks, my struggles, my challenges and prepared myself for the start of a new realm of adventures. This past week marked the start of working a total of 3 jobs; something I am very proud of because it took some leaping, self-confidence and conspiring with the Universe to get them. I felt like I was straddling a mystical, imaginary line of my old life and my newfound one. I was excited because I knew that not only was this the end of some very challenging times for me, it was also the beginning of a different chapter with fresh, distinct experiences.

I encourage everyone to look at their Sundays with a redesigned perspective–as a time for renewal. If you’re having a bad week, look forward to Sunday being the end of that negativity and an open door to a positive week. If you allow yourself the space, you can be regenerated. You should set your intentions to make that the day to do some self-care activities: spend time in nature, do a face mask, play with your animal(s) and reflect by journaling & meditating to focus on what you hope to achieve in the upcoming week. Having a positive Sunday will glide you right into a happy mood the next day so you can fight those Monday blues!

I hope this makes you look at the little things in life with a little more curiosity…

Fear is the Opposite of Self-Love

Hi everyone,

I decided to use the quote above as the image of this post because it is sooo powerful! It resonated with me the moment I read it [thanks to Lauren Ash’s awesome post] and I wrote it in my journal. It makes us confront our fears and ultimately ourselves and confess to what it is that is stopping us from conquering the world.

“Fear is the opposite of self-love.” Repeat that to yourself and really let it sink in. Self-love is the act of taking steps that are aligned with promoting a healthy well-being,  promoting your inner-growth, and inviting aspects into your life that are fulfilling, uplifting & allow you to reach your highest potential. Self-love is the root of wellness and mindfulness; it is the reason why we take calculated measures to ensure we have a healthy mind, body and spirit.  Fear is the opposite of that in that it hinders your wellness journey and is counterproductive to self-love, growth and positivity.

Fear is that hesitation you feel before accepting that big opportunity; it is that little negative voice whispering to your conscious that you CANNOT do something that you were born to do. It is crippling in a multitude of ways. When we count ourselves out of something before even trying, it is because we are afraid of failure. Do you realize that, that is the opposite of believing in ourselves? If we are so afraid to fail, then we are not even giving ourselves the opportunity to be GREAT. The fear leads to worry and the worry leads to doubt. So before even absorbing the confidence it takes to accomplish a great deed, we have let fear, worry and doubt steer the ship and cloud our ambitions. And when that happens, we are bound to fail without the drive to get back up.

Failure is inevitable, always. But it is not the end all, be all. Failure is an opportunity to learn how to be Great. It is from our mistakes, that we learn the BIGGEST lessons about life and our inner-being.

So how do we combat that feeling of fear?

We get down to the root of our worries. Ask yourself: what is it that I am actually afraid of? Is it that I’m afraid to fail or am I scared for other people to see me fall? Once you figure out that root cause, you must confront it wholeheartedly and then gain control of it. Fear is not our enemy; it is actually the tool we need to tell ourselves, this is what I should be doing. If I’m scared, then I HAVE to do it. Because guess what is lying on the other side of that fear? Pure freedom. Once you jump over that wall and realize you’re flying instead of falling, the feeling is euphoric because you have reached your inner strength and power. We all have that power inside of us just waiting to burst out. But we can only tap into it by trusting and believing in ourselves.

That trust and belief that we are meant to do great things is the essence of self-love. We all have the opportunity to conquer the world.

Do not let fear be the thing that stops you from reaching your higher purpose in life.

Love love and more love,

Manifestation Circles

Hello beauties!

So recently I met up with my two best friends and we had an amazing experience hanging out in the park, having discussions and just vibing to the nature surrounding us. We also had a sweet yoga session at the end that was so powerful! We focused on manifesting and opening our heart chakras to let our desires come to life. It was so inspiring and necessary that it made me wonder why I didn’t do this more often! It’s a free activity, allowing for yourself and others to connect while surrounded by Earth’s natural elements.

That day was magical because my life had been so overwhelming lately with trying to pay bills, figure my life out and stay afloat at the same time. I didn’t realize that all I needed to do was give myself some space, literally. I had to go outside, get away from unhealthy distractions (social media, tv), and really just breathe with ease and take in my beautiful surroundings with my closest friends. It was an experience that I had no idea I needed; I was able to focus on things that are real—the joy that I have when I’m surrounded by genuine feelings of love and support along with my goals that I want to manifest.

We were able to vibe together and even learned some eccentric new ways to manifest our goals! It was an incredible moment of sisterhood that cultivated energy between us and shined light on our goals. I realized that day that we have the power to do anything we want to do. I was stuck in a rut and I got myself out of it by doing something simple: going to the park. I created a space for my mind to breathe by being outdoors, doing yoga, and just having heartfelt conversations with my friends. It was therapy 🙂 I encourage everyone to try this! Get your closest friends together, grab yoga mats/blankets, some fruit and go outside and just vibe. Do it once a month or as often as you need to. You may even want to do it right before the New Moon to prime your mind towards manifesting your goals. It’s something so simple that can lead to so many amazing things. I feel like my mindset is different today than it was last week just because of those couple of hours in the park.

I hope that you all are constantly striving towards your goals. I’m holding myself accountable to take the littlest of steps each day. Remember: always focus on what your heart wants because that is where your passion lives. None of this should feel like work; it’s more about the journey of living mindfully, embracing your inner-self and enjoying the experience of life.

Love you,

Finding Your Foundation

Good afternoon, everyone!

Today’s post is about getting back to your foundation or the roots of your passion(s). It’s sort of along the lines of my minimalism post [Spring Cleaning] in terms of starting off small in order to achieve big goals. I have been doing A LOT of thinking as far as my ideas for entrepreneurship including different ways to make money using my passions. In thinking of all of this, I realized my mind was coming to a stopping point constantly. I was not having a consistent flow of thoughts and everything seemed to be jumbled. It wasn’t causing anything but frustration with my lack of resources.

So, recently I started to “get back to my roots” or find my foundation. I decided to go back to the roots of my passions and keep nurturing them so that my ideas can grow fruitfully. Rather than try and force ideas out of my passions to earn a profit; I want to simply do what I am passionate about without expectations and watch what grows from there! This sounds simple and it’s something we all know but I think we often forget about it when things get too distracting or we feel as if we’re doing something wrong and need to speed up the process. I believe that as long as we are putting energy into what we’re passionate about…we cannot go wrong.

For me, finding my foundation simply means to write. I’ve always loved to write….from writing poetry, short stories, random lists, etc. I genuinely enjoy writing things down and I can do it all day without getting paid for it. That is how I know it is one of my passions or I should say the root from which my passions grow. I decided to go back to my unfinished short stories and finish them for the simple enjoyment of it. I am going to do that and also write in the lovely book my best friend got me called: 642 Things To Write About. It is an amazing hidden gem filled with random topics and prompts that lets your imagination run wild. The perfect cure for writer’s block 😉

I plan to write and nurture this deep-rooted passion of mine…that includes more frequent blog posts so definitely stay tuned! And I hope that anyone reading this can take something small away from it. If you’re constantly thinking of ideas but running into roadblocks at the same time then don’t panic. Simply, take a deep breath and think about why you’re doing this in the first place or where it started from. It’s your passion…it stems from what your heart desires. It stems from what you like to do regardless of what can be made from it. That is where the richness of our creativity lies and I am ready to tap back into it.

I hope you are too 🙂

Namaste, loves.

The Importance of Creating Communities

Hello beautiful people!

It’s been a minute since I’ve made a blog post. I’ve been waiting because I wanted to talk about this topic after my workshop! I didn’t realize how important it is to create a space for people, specifically women of color, to connect and vibe together through sisterhood until I discovered the BlackGirlinOm brand. It is represented by beautiful women of color that made it their mission to provide a safe space for women that want to practice yoga, meditation and all around self-care. I have been so inspired by their journey that I wanted to introduce this concept in my own city! So I collaborated with my best friend, Davida Moore, who is a local yoga instructor. You can find my article on her here! We decided to create a workshop called: Connect with your Passions. It included a yoga sequence to open the heart, meditation for grounding and clarity and we finished with a creative writing exercise that allowed our thoughts to focus on our deepest passions! It was so inspiring to be around other goal-oriented women and hear about the direction they want their life to take! Creating this space for people to connect and open up is so important because you never know who is out there and can help you with your dream + with entrepreneurship you need all of the support you can get! So I love the idea of creatives, entrepreneurs, and believers coming together to collaborate on their dreams and really connect to each other. It is important for us mentally and spiritually to be surrounded by a swirl of positive energy and others that can motivate us to keep going!

I love love love hearing what people are passionate about and enjoy guiding others to start this journey. It is incredibly fulfilling to show others that ALL DREAMS CAN BE ACHIEVED! It just takes time, energy and your beautiful thoughts to get the wheels turning! We will definitely be hosting more workshops incorporating practices of self-care and introducing exercises that will aim you towards your desires. I am on this journey myself and want everyone to discover their passions right along with me! We are all limitless beings that can achieve things we’ve thought were impossible! So keep believing friends and pleaseee stay tuned for our next workshop!

Love you all,

Spring Cleaning

Wow I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve done a post! I took a small break but I’m back and ready to continue inspiring 🙂

Today’s post is about the importance of renewal, grounding and de-cluttering. I first got the idea to de-clutter a couple of weeks ago when my best friend sent me a picture filled with small tips to de-clutter your life. It’s a challenge that shows you how to take the smallest of steps in order to simplify your life and also renew yourself. It’s the springtime meaning our plants are growing, the sun is shining more and we are welcoming a wave of warm weather. It’s time to reevaluate, ground yourself in the present, and move forward with a clean slate! Find the pic below 🙂

After turning 24, I was feeling really overwhelmed and scattered with thoughts of ideas, financial worries and just drained from a corporate place I did not really want to be at. I felt that I was approaching a new phase of my life and I needed a clean slate to start.

So what did I do?

I took action! Literally. I put in a one week notice at my job and I decided that I would use the next few days to ‘spring clean’ and de-clutter various areas of my house in order to gain a sense of renewal. Here are some things I did that would be super helpful for you too! And remember: every small task is important!

Helpful Tips

  • Clothes/Shoes: Look through your old clothes & shoes and do away with pieces you’ve been holding on to for years but never wear. Pack a nice bag that you can donate! 🙂 Find anything ripped or too gross to share? Toss it! I have a bag ready for donation and a bag for trash.

  • Organize Old Papers: You know all of those old important papers just lying around that you don’t care to move. Like car information, medical stuff, bills, etc.? Try to find a folder and a centralized place to keep everything stored. Next time you’re looking for that pay stub from months ago, you’ll know where to find it!

  • Sorting: Go through all of your old books, movies, and miscellaneous items and re-organize them in neat stacks on your shelves. Another idea is to get storage bins and really sort everything out! Maybe have a bin specifically for books and journals and place your movies on the shelf. For me, the more organized my things are the better, but this is totally up to you! And yes you will feel ultra nostalgic going through your old things!

  • Trash: Part of renewing yourself is letting go of the old! Throw away anything that hasn’t been used in years or is collecting dust and taking up space. Go through everything! Old folders, bookbags, makeup bag, storage closet, junk drawer, etc. are more than likely to hold unnecessary clutter that can be cleared away.

Remember: Any little change you make is worth it because de-cluttering your physical space will simultaneously de-clutter your mental space. I cannot tell you how much clearer my head felt after going through my piles of clothes. It felt like I was stripping away the old and leaving an open space for the new.

I encourage you guys to even do the digital de-cluttering the picture suggests! Unsubscribe from junk that’s flooding your mailbox, change your ringtones, and maybe even go through your social media and delete old pictures! This will promote an energy of growth and transition in your life. You should feel more grounded in the present after doing these activities and have a clean slate  for what’s to come up next.

This feeling of renewal will really come in handy with the energy of the New Moon upon us once again! This one is a Taurus Moon, so we must focus on being grounded within ourselves, within nature and be ready and open for new adventures to come. Click here to see my personal New Moon ritual that you can complete tonight 🙂

The time for you to be great is NOW!!!

Namaste 🙂

Why is Sex Taboo?

I have been thinking about the topic of sex and slut shaming in society lately and the more I thought about it, the more it became clear that we still have a long way to go in dissolving the shameful connotation surrounding it and the negative association that is aimed towards women who are sexually liberated.

I watched a Breakfast Club interview with Sexologist, Michelle Hope, and it really resonated with me because I realized there were so many apparent issues surrounding sex, sexuality and slut shaming in society but they are not discussed in totality because people are ashamed to confront it or are improperly educated on the matter. Nudity is our most natural state of being; we are nude when we come out of the womb into this world. It is our most vulnerable and primal state and yet we [not all of us] are ashamed to show our bodies. The mention of sex or the image of nudity tends to make people uncomfortable because it is not acknowledged as a natural part of life; instead, it is viewed as embarrassing or risqué. And the important, necessary conversations about it are avoided! Children grow up without a proper ‘birds and the bees’ talk from their parents which results in bad choices in the future and an urge to rebel. This isn’t to say, encourage your kids to have sex but rather, give them a proper understanding of their body, the opposite’s sex body, and the right way to handle a situation when it occurs so that they are well-informed. There is nothing wrong in having a sex education conversation with your child because it is completely natural and at the end of the day, you care about their well-being and want them to be safe. According to Michelle, having these conversations early with your children can result in a decrease in their sexual activity.

Slut shaming is a concept which I have yet to understand: why is it deemed appropriate for men to have multiple sexual partners and women to be labeled a slut or hoe when they want to practice the same sexual freedom? How does that make any sense? If we have slept with the same amount of people or your number is significantly higher than wouldn’t you be the slut per your definition of the word? It really baffles me that someone feels that they can place a “label” on you based off of YOUR sex life, which is ultimately your business and no one else’s. It also baffles me that people are very quick to judge, label and point the finger without pointing the finger at themselves first. It is not our right to judge someone on the intimate details of their life when one has not done anything differently themselves. How will you call out someone else for being “promiscuous” when you are far from innocent yourself? Have you done something similar that equates to the reason why you are slut shaming this person? If you haven’t…does it give you a form of validation or uplift you to put someone else down about something that has to do with their body? The most important element to sex is to practice it safely. Why do we shame others instead of pushing forth methods of safe sex? We should be talking about it in the context of normalcy because it is a natural phenomenon. You should feel safe and protect yourself in any sexual encounter and even if you don’t (which I strongly discourage) you should be educated on the consequences or have the resources available to you.
Slut shaming is aligned with the stigma in society surrounding “ladylike” behavior and what that entails. But who came up with the rules? And why do you have to follow them? Why are we singling others out instead of respecting our differences? Why not live your life the way you want to and stop pushing your beliefs on someone that deserves the same respect you believe you do. There is no general rule on how to be a lady.  There are basic human rights and respect that we should show towards one another. We should be inspiring, encouraging, uplifting and enlightening one another on how to survive in this world. If you believe someone you care about is behaving in a way that is harmful to others then have an honest conversation with them that comes from the heart. We should be compassionate rather than judgmental.

Sex is not wrong. It is not wrong to have sex with one person, multiple people or to choose to abstain altogether. It is simply your choice. That is the beauty of life and living your truth. We have the option to live life the way we choose, being who we are unapologetically. Anyone who hates on that is envious of the freedom you express in embracing the fact that you’re a sexual being. Most people wish they could be that liberated but are too busy hiding the fact that they enjoy it because of hurtful labels and and shame bought on from society.

I applaud the people that embrace their sexuality and the fact that sex is a natural occurrence. I applaud the professional sexologists that aim to educate us and open lines of communication. And I applaud those of you that live in your truth! Also, please understand that is okay to be modest if that is more comfortable. You don’t have to be radical. You just need to understand that sex isn’t taboo and nudity isn’t unnatural. You were created from the sexual energy of two beings (gross image, I know) but you will or have used that flow of energy from within to bring life into this world. That is magical and is ultimately, what keeps the cycle of life flowing!

Anyway, I could go on and on but you get my point. I included the video that I mentioned of current Sexologist, Michelle Hope, having an interview with the Breakfast Club. She discusses the importance of sexual education to the youth and the issues surrounding the African American community. She also discusses changing the perception of rape culture. It is very insightful, provocative, explicit and hilarious so please watch and enjoy!!!

I love you all. Thanks for reading 🙂

Do Yoga!

Yess! Please do yoga! I never fully realized how amazing it is for your body, mind and spirit until just recently. I was practicing on and off for two years but I was never consistent because I would let things get in the way! I didn’t know how helpful yoga would have been to help get me through some of those stressful times. It allows you to focus and hone your mind on moving your body with intention. It is a conscious connection between the mind, breath, and body; similar to meditation but in a physical form 🙂

Honestly, I’ve never been a huge fitness or athletic person. I just never felt the need to do intense workouts. When I discovered yoga, I was amazed that moving  your body in intricate and curious positions could be a healthy workout. I am still a newbie to the practice so I absolutely love learning new ways to twist my body.  Currently, I’m on a 30 day program and after doing yoga for a few days back to back, my body feels stronger and my mind is in a much more positive space because I’ve allowed time to recenter myself everyday.

Whatever workout you do, I encourage you to try yoga! It doesn’t matter if it’s at-home, in a class or even outdoors; in whatever aspect you choose, you definitely will not be disappointed. It is so relaxing yet brings the right amount of intensity to your body and also gives you major flexibility!  If you are considering starting the practice or want to connect to a fellow yogi, I know a great yoga instructor that can help you on your journey.

My best friend, Davida Moore is a certified yoga instructor based here in Charlotte. After obtaining her certification in Philadelphia, she deepened her knowledge of yoga and holistic healing practices by teaching in Hawaii for 6 months! Her stories and pictures of her journey are soo amazing!!  She’s currently an entrepreneur with her own yoga practice that is rooted in spreading the elements of yoga to people of all colors, shapes and sizes. She believes in the journey and aligning the divinity within yourself.

Keep reading below for my exclusive interview with her!

**Davida, pictured in Hawaii**

What made you begin your yoga journey and how long have you been practicing?

I was a lyrical dancer for 2 years, practiced karate for over 7 years, and I’ve always been very physical. I was originally drawn to yoga because I wanted to do handstands and work on my flexibility. After I took my first yoga class in college, I realized there were healing aspects to the practice that surpassed physicality. Every time I practiced yoga, I noticed how much better I felt afterward, both mentally and physically. I was more relaxed, I wasn’t stressed out about exams, and I just felt better overall. I wanted to keep feeling that way and continued to go to class every week. I started studying natural alternatives to medicine, I fell in love with Ayurveda, and began meditating. After college I moved to Philadelphia and became a Yoga Alliance registered yoga instructor and have been on this journey ever since! I have been practicing for over 5 years.

Have you noticed any significant changes in your body since you began your practice?

Yes I definitely have. Here’s the list:

I have a greater sense of self love and a deeper connection of body awareness.

I’m more flexible and stronger.

I take deeper natural breaths

My endurance and stamina have increased.

I have better posture, and less tension in my back and neck

Interestingly enough, I’m able to think of very creative sex positions because of my deeper understanding of anatomy and body orientation

I have less stress and anxiety

And the list will continue!

What is something interesting you have learned from studying yoga?

From studying and living yoga, I now understand the power of breath. It’s the first thing we do when we enter this physical world and it’s the last thing we do as we’re existing. You can manipulate your breath to calm your mind, energize you, increase or decrease your body temperature, slow down your heart rate, etc. It’s one of the most powerful tools given to us, and it’s free!

In your opinion, what are the best benefits of doing yoga?

For me, the best benefits of yoga go deeper than the physical. Yes, if you practice regularly your body will naturally become more flexible and stronger but that’s not the focus.Yoga gave me a deeper understand of myself, as well as strength on and off the mat. It changed my perspective on life and I became more compassionate for others. I realized everyone is on this crazy shifting beautiful journey called life, and we’re not born with an owner’s manual to tell us how to live it. Think about it, no one really knows what they’re doing, we’re all just trying our best to survive to live and not just exist.

Yoga also led me to a more serious meditation practice and that has been my saving grace! When I feel my blood starting to boil or anxiety approaching, I stop everything and meditate. It’s literally a reset button for me and has positively changed how I navigate through life.

How has yoga impacted your life thus far?

Yoga has helped me see through societal pressures and has assisted me in becoming the greatest version of myself. I have more compassionate for others and myself, and everyday I’m learning how to ebb and flow with life.

Where do you teach yoga currently? Do you offer one on one sessions?

I currently teach at Advanced Therapeutics (1200 E Morehead St #190, Charlotte, NC) on Sundays mornings, Life Time Fitness (University) on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings, and sub at Noda Yoga.

Yes, I Do offer therapeutic private one on one sessions! I currently have special for new clients! For more information click the link below:

What level does one have to be to join your class?

All levels are welcomed! It doesn’t matter if you’re a first timer or an elite yogi, I teach to what I see.

Lastly, what message do you want to send out to those who are considering starting the practice?

You don’t have to be flexible, skinny, ”fit”, a certain race, or a certain gender to practice yoga. It is for everyone, and I believe everyone can benefit from this practice.

When you’re attending a class for the first time, understand that you don’t have to follow the instructors sequence precisely. If you wanted to stay in child’s pose for the whole duration of the class, that’s perfectly fine. The instructor is a guide and is there to create safe space. Do what feels good in your body on that day. Maybe you were able to pop into crow pose yesterday and today you may not be able to…and that’s ok. Don’t set expectations for yourself and realize that you’re not in competition with anyone. Yoga is a journey of the self, to the self, through the self.

Namaste loves.
